Massage- enhances the power of the human touch

broken image

When we are touched physically, the chemicals taken in by the receptors make our bodies feel good.  The same thing happens when we are connected emotionally, remotely, or robotically.

This produces endorphins, hormones similar to what our brains have, are released.  These chemicals give us a sense of well-being and enhance our pain-relief and pleasure-seeking.

When we are touched emotionally, the same chemicals are released, but they begin to act much more directly.  Think of a warmth that spreads from the part of our body that receives the touching and peas in the same way that endorphins are released when we have a good bout of the blues.  The rush of endorphins through our bodies changes our attitudes and our physiology.

This has a calming effect and a helping effect on our emotions and states of our bodies.

Tantric massage Fulham No5 can therefore be seen as enhancing the power of the human touch and, to a much lesser extent, artificial stimulants such as electric stimulation in the sort of massages provided by spas or day spas.  But the effects of artificial stimulants are often placed in a different light.  Although many people believe that artificial stimulants are safer than natural stimulants, they usually are not as safe as we think.  Even though many massages are considered safe, it is worth mentioning that the stimulation can come via electric impulses as with the massaging machines described above. The danger is still a real one.

For those of us who are somehow "too close to the edge" (that is, too stressed, too worried, too stressed to be able to reach relaxation easily), we need to learn how to practice relaxing in our day-to-day lives.  Technique and regular practice go hand in hand.  The rigid, too-perfect techniques can be frustrating and counterproductive if practiced excessively to the exclusion of the unwritten terms and conditions contained within the individual practitioner/patient relationship.

Relaxation is essential, but it is mainly realized within the context of our attitudes, mindsets, and environments.  Practitioners should understand that relaxation is an active process that requires the caregiver and the practitioner to develop a trusting, non-judgmental attitude towards the patient and the patient's perceptions of the practitioner.

Trust comes first: the patient's readiness and faithfulness to the therapeutic relationship between patient and practitioner.   This is the relationship that, when familial and trusting, will ultimately relieve the caregiver from the loneliness and anxiety which sometimes accompanied the caregiving process. Massage helps us become more aware of our bodies as a gift we give to another person, enhancing the quality of life for the one giving it and receiving it.

Massage is a beautiful experience in itself.  Its benefits are experienced not just when done by experts or bought by moneyed people, but it is available to almost everyone.  Those who cannot afford expensive sessions or do not have time for them can buy cheap home massages, which are available at the most affordable prices.  This alternative helps them to maintain their flexibility and physical and mental fitness at the same time.
